How can I recover Ordinals stuck in a Bitcoin address and vice versa?

Sometimes, a moment of inattention can lead users to send Bitcoin to an Ordinal address instead of a BTC address, or to send an Ordinal to a non-ordinal address.

If you're using Xverse wallet, they've put together this helpful guide to recovering your assets.

If you're using Leather (formerly Hiro) or Sparrow, please follow these guidelines.

If your wallet is not one of the mentioned wallets above, kindly contact your wallet provider. While it is possible that you may be able to transfer the asset to a compatible address in the future, there is no guarantee. The ability to do so will depend on whether wallets will support the asset.
