How can I get started buying Ordinals and NFTs on Gamma?

Buying your first NFT or Ordinal might sound intimidating, but it can be an exciting experience, too! If you’re new to NFTs on Stacks and Bitcoin, you may need to follow a couple of steps to first obtain Stacks (STX) or Bitcoin (BTC) cryptocurrency, which is used to purchase NFTs and Ordinals on Gamma.

Most simply put, you need to connect a supported digital wallet browser extension to Gamma and allow usage of your wallet’s cryptocurrency for the purchase of an NFT.

Xverse wallet and Leather wallet both Stacks NFTs and Ordinals. Ordinals can also be held and purchased with a Unisat wallet, an OKX wallet, a Phantom wallet, or a MagicEden wallet. For the full list of compatible wallets and what they support, please refer to this article.
