Get started in three steps
Are you looking to join the world of NFTs and the Web3 ecosystem? Welcome to Gamma, the open marketplace for Bitcoin NFTs. Get started in just a few minutes.
1. Set up a wallet
You'll first need a digital wallet: that's how you'll engage in Web3 and store all of your assets and data. You can take your wallet and its things with you to whatever app you're using!
On Gamma, you can use Hiro or Xverse wallet. They are both Stacks-compatible and Ordinals-compatible.

2. Buy STX and/or BTC
Now that you have a wallet, you have a BTC address and a STX address and all you need is some cryptocurrency!
You can purchase BTC on cryptocurrency exchanges such as Coinbase and Binance.
You can purchase STX on exchanges such as Coinbase, Kraken, and KuCoin. You can also choose to buy STX with a credit or debit card from within the Hiro or Xverse wallet.
Another option is to use a non-exchange method such as SimpleSwap.io or LNSwap.org which allows you to exchange other cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, for STX.
3. Connect wallet to Gamma
Go to gamma.io and click "Connect wallet" in the top right corner. Click Stacks wallet and your Hiro or Xverse wallet extension will prompt you to choose an account to connect. That's it!
Now you can mint recently released collections on gamma.io, explore our create portal to launch your own collection, or buy NFTs on the marketplace, it's that simple!
