Overview

Gamma now supports pre-inscribed Ordinals mints. This guide will walk you through the steps to successfully mint your pre-inscribed ordinals on Gamma.

Steps to Mint Pre-Inscribed Ordinals

  1. Pre-Inscribing Your Ordinals
Before initiating the minting process on Gamma, you need to pre-inscribe your ordinals. Ensure that each inscription is complete and correctly formatted according to Bitcoin Ordinals standards. You can refer to our Help Centre article on pre-inscribing using parent-child if applicable.
  2. Setting Up Your Collection
Before transferring your ordinals, you will be provided with a URL to set up your collection page. This setup includes entering the collection name, description, relevant links, collection logo, and preferred collection slug (if a slug is not available, a similar one can be arranged).
  3. Transferring Ordinals to Gamma
Once your ordinals are pre-inscribed, they must be transferred to Gamma for the minting process.
    • Direct Transfer to Gamma’s Deposit Address:
      • Gamma will provide you with a specific deposit address.
      • You need to send your pre-inscribed ordinals directly to this address. This is to ensure we have custody of all the inscriptions required for the mint to occur.
      • Ensure the transaction is confirmed on the Bitcoin network.
  4. Minting Process
    • Once received, Gamma will set up your collection page as the mint page.
    • We can randomize the order of the inscriptions that you have sent us if required as well.

Important Notes

  • Double-check all details of your inscriptions and that you are sending them to the address we provided you before transferring them to Gamma.
  • Ensure you are using Gamma’s official communication channels and addresses only.
